This album is a personal exploration of love, loss, family, friendship and hope, marking a sonic shift from my debut. I focused heavily on rich guitar tones, utilizing the Roland VG-99 and open tunings to craft unique, melodic textures. Lyrically, the songs blend real-life experiences with abstract storytelling—like "Roo Girl," a tale of a girl protected by kangaroos in the Australian scrub. Developed over seven years, I really wanted to create surprising, engaging moments for the listener, inspired by the songwriting approach of artists like Sting and Eric Johnson. Huge thanks to the international lineup of musicians from Australia, Canada, Brazil, and America who brought this seven-year journey to life. It wouldn't be the same without them.
