Inspired by Led Zeppelin’s song “Friends” released in 1970 on the Led Zeppelin III album I basically created this one on the spot in the studio. The theme has a psychedelic flavor to it and represents the journey of the soul in the afterlife.
A lot of the instrumentation was done using the Roland VG-99 multi-effects system via a Roland GK-3 pickup. Synth plugins were also used.
