Reviews
“Bob has put together a unique collection of songs showcasing his diverse musicality and song writing style. I sincerely hope you check these out and enjoy them…you’ll be pleasantly surprised….a pleasure to perform on them:) ” - Gerry Pantazis (drummer)- Tommy Emmanuel, Richard Marx, Larry Carlton, John Farnham
"I recently had the pleasure to record some bass for a fabulous Melbourne singer /songwriter, guitar player who goes under the name Wineshank and it was such a joy to perform on these tracks.
Shades of Steely Dan and Crosby, Stills and Nash come to mind. Really intelligent writing, arrangements and thoughtful lyrics. These are not your average three chord pop songs. They have substance and evoke wonderful emotions for the listener.
Be sure to check out this CD when it's released, you won't be disappointed."

This album is a personal exploration of love, loss, family, friendship and hope, marking a sonic shift from my debut album. I focused heavily on rich guitar tones, utilizing the Roland VG-99 (advanced V-Guitar system and multi-effects processor) and open tunings to craft unique, melodic textures.
Lyrically, the songs blend real-life experiences with abstract fictional storytelling—like "Roo Girl," a tale of a girl protected by kangaroos in the Australian scrub, and "Shadow," a complex dynamic between mother and son.
Developed over seven years, I really wanted this collection to create surprising, engaging moments for the listener, inspired by the songwriting approach of artists like Sting and Eric Johnson.
Huge thanks to the lineup of musicians from Australia, Canada, Brazil, and America who brought this journey to life. It wouldn't be what it is without them.

"Melody is King"
Heavily influenced by Hendrix, Brian May of Queen, Eric Johnson and Pat Metheny, Wineshank has carved out a uniquely original voice. His songs form colourful tapestries of chords, riffs and melodies that surprise and arouse fragile, heady experiences. The new album, The Wine Pourer’s Tales, is an intriguing and compelling collection.
